LJMLuke
Hello again! I am wondering if some of you pros could give me some ideas on when to add my scents. The best times to put it in the mix and get it to work the best while fishing them. Also, how much scent should I add? I use alot of salt as you may know(1/2 cup salt to 1/2 cup plastic)so I get alot of worms out of less plastic. Maybe I need more scent because of this? I usually get about 22 4.25" senkos to my mix as stated above. thanks Luke
earthworm77
I add it just when I'm ready to pour. I don't like to add it when the plastic is cold. I feel, once it is in there a while, it may burn off a bit.
alsworms
It also depends on the scent. Some are much stronger than others. I'm with Craig......I add my scent as close to the pouring state as possible. That stuff costs too much to cook out. Personally, I use Pro Cure almost exclusively now. I never use more than a drop per ounce. If you're using Lure Craft scent (with heavy salt)..... the garlic and anise is pretty strong; I mix about 2 drops per ounce. Crawfish and tour. pro - about 3 drops per ounce, and the shad is really weak - about 5 drops per ounce. Chris
