Jigsisme
I've asked this question elsewhere but was told you may be able to help me out...I'm trying to find a jig head I can buy so I can make my own jigs (without having to pour). The jigs I'm looking for have: Recessed eye, extra wide gap hook...comparable to a Picasso, B2M, Outkast All-Terrain, ect. I'm trying to find these un-dressed bass jigs in bulk but have been coming up empty handed. Any help woill be appreciated.
Elken
I have one of the new Poison Tail molds and could make you some jigheads; I am still working out the bugs with the weedguards on the 1/8 oz size, but they are mainly related to heating the jighead for powder painting. It has recessed eye sockets that accept the stick-on eyes, fiber weedguard, Mustad black nickel extra wide gap hook, skirt collar plus a trailer collar. The mold I have makes 1/8, 1/4 and 3/8 oz jigheads. Did you want them unpainted? Hopefully here is a link to a picture... go to the Poison Tail jig mold for info about the jigheads including eye sizes Poison Tail jig mold
jigmaster
YOu will likely not have much luck finding a commercial source for jigheads with recessed eyes......I am assuming you are talking about the line tie? You may have to find someone with a custom mold to do those for you. Regards JM www.daimonlures.com
Elken
Sorry, I was thinking eyeballs, not hook eyes. The line tie on the Poison Tail is tight to the jighead, but not recessed.
Triton Mike
I am sorry this is off the topic of fishing. But I can't help but notice your avatar and name and that you are from Idaho. I'm a HUGE elk hunting fan and my parents live near Lucky Peak Reservoir which is East of Boise, ID. By chance do you live in that area? My father is also a huge hunter.
