borderbasser
I recently made some dark black baits with red flake and the baits initialy turned out great. I started out with about 12 oz. of M-F regular plastic in my cup and by the time I was half way through with the cup, my baits started having a green tint to them. I was pouring some big beavers and reheating after 4 pours. I have an IR temp gun and I randomly check my temperature. I rarely pull a cup out of the microwave over 330 degrees. Also, I have had this problem with both LC and Del black. Is black just one of those colors that has a heat issue? Would some heat stabilizer solve my problems. Oh, I forgot to mention, there is also some black glitter and no salt in the mix. Thanks for any suggestions. TJ
nova
It's a heat problem; but don't throw those sticks away, they fish pretty good. Try to not mix so much plastic at a time. I rarely heat more that 8 oz at one time.
