jaime
Howdy all! I bought a kit from bass pro shop a few years ago (before i discovered that you make your own soft plastics) and these baits have a strong plastic smell! The baits range from 1 - 2" tubes and craws. I'm wanting to somehow remove the plastic smell so that i can fish with them. anyone know how i could do this?
millsryno
Have you tried to add some scent to them?
harley-cowboy
Try some pure crawfish extract or shad extract. I am not sure if the regular scents will do the trick. ALSO, try leaving them out in open air a while. A few years in a sealed plastic bag would make anything "FOUL". Hope this helps.
jaime
thanks for the replies. I haven't tried adding scent to them cuz the plastic smell is overwhelming! I handled a few of them and my hands smelled like plastic for awhile! I'll try to air them out and use some scent and see what happens. thanks.
