I talk to Joe a few times a week. He has been busy cleaning up at work and home. He lost pretty much everything that he left home.

he and his family are fine though.

He bought a place outside Baton Rouge and is commuting into Nawlins.

and yeah, he lost all his stock and luremaking equipment but will begin getting back into the swing of things as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, he lost most of his retail outlets....hopefully they'll be back.

Hi Basskat, you can reach Joe by email. He was living with his son the last time I emailed him and asked if there was anything I could do to help out. He said he pretty much lost everything but him and his family were doing just fine and then were living with his son. He said he had insurance to cover the losses. I hope this helps you out. Hey Ricky, Here I am. We're doing fine. There doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to get everything done. Like Fred said, I bought a house in Denham Springs, just east of Baton Rouge. We have been going back to Meraux every weekend to salvage what we can. Other than a few odds and ends, there is not much worth saving. Our insurance will cover most everything we lost, but it will take time to start over again. I hope to have C J Bass back up and running after the first of the year. My fishing partner and I have a Regional Tournament next week at the Red River, but I'm not sure yet if I will make it. My cell # is 504 329 8626. Thanks, Joe
