MonsterMusky Posted January 13, 2006 Report Share Posted January 13, 2006 They are a top-water walk the dog Muskie fishing lure, I will never buy one they are way over priced IMO, I think most guys on this site could make one easier than any other bait. Not sure but think they are just a simple lathe turned hardwood lure and are not even weighted. 2 step lure turn and paint. They have caught a ton of fish though, but maybe that's because so many people use them, not sure why. Someone please correct me if I'm way off on this one. MonsterMusky Posted January 15, 2006 Report Share Posted January 15, 2006 That's true Jed, I guess the cost was based on supply and demand, they couldn't make them fast enough. I was reading on one of the Muskie sites that the original owner just sold the weagle wrights to another supplier, maybe the cost will go down if they start producing larger quantities. I'm sure if you sold as many of your top-waters as the weagle and everyone was using them the results would be close, but I would spend my money on yours, better quality, paint job, shape etc... IMO.
