Big-D
I had my first experience with water putty this weekend and I can't wait to see if my mold works out. I started out with bondo and created a 5/8oz seahorse mold that takes a fiber weedguard and a 60degree mustad. I discovered that a bondo mold (at least this one!) does not like a weedguard cast into the head. The lead stays molten too long (bondo must be a good insulator) and the melted plastic made a mess. I got two pours that could be resurected with the help of a sharp knife (terrible flash and a mess at the eye where I changed hook style). I used these two prototypes to fashion my mold. Thanks for all of the instructional aid!!! Big-D
