I was hoping to take a size 4 willowleaf spinnerbait blade and use two ton devcon epoxy a to secure a hook to to it. Will it hold? earthworm77 Posted November 13, 2005 Report Share Posted November 13, 2005 Matt, lomg time no hear!!! Soldering the hook shank is the way to go. Often times manufacturers will pop rivet the hook eye as well. Epoxy will break up and if you are fishing white bass they will knock the spoon around pretty good ultimately breaking the epoxy.
