the_hide
I'm pouring grubs and minnows into two piece plaster molds, how do most people insert their rattles and when. I've tried pushing them in at certain points in the poor with some moderate success, I'm just curious on how other people are doing it. earthworm77
Is it nec. to insert them into hot plastic? Why not wait until the plastic cools and simply slip them in the way everybody does when they are fishing? If you wanted to do it with hot plastic, I know a way to do it with a standard one pc. mold. Pour the top of the bait and let it sit so the plastic starts to cool. Place the rattle in the mold so that it does not fall through the first layer...obviously it must be cooled enough for you to do this. Then simply fill up the mold. I'm not so sure you can do it consistently with a two pc. mold.
