davycrockett
I did a TU search but struck out. I am working on a new musky topwater and need a pattern of a Tallywacker tail (like on a Topraider) The bait will be similar to a Topraider or Tallywacker. Stamina sells them but I figured I could make some out of sheet metal. Thanks.
clemmy
Iguess if you wanted to you could photocopy the pic from stamina/moore's, (or just design your own) and rubber cement it to some aluminum and cut out with tin snips
out2llunge
Make sure you use heavy aluminum or s.s. If you cheap out you'll get very frustrated with having to re-tune the tail all the time.
davycrockett
Found a couple of patterns on lurebuilding 101. Going to try one pattern while comparing it to my Topraiders tails. Not sure about the angle of the slot and the pitch(bend) of the blade. I guess I'll have to trash some lure blanks until it is right!
