davycrockett
Anyone have any ideas for tackle storage when not in use? I currently have my rods in racks and the tackle bags and tackle on shelves in the garage. I am looking for something more secure (there's been a string of robberies around here) like a cabinet or safe. Any suggestions?
texasbass1
I leave mine it the boat, secured with a loc-r-bar. I don't take them out except for during Jul and Aug when it is about 110 here.
WidowMaker
I once saw a magazine article where an individual built a reinforced closet for his rifles and shotguns. On the inside he built a rebar caged frame. Rebar was placed horizontally through holes in the 2x4 stud walls. Rebar was placed vertically in the middle of each stud center. Each place where the rebar met to form a grid was welded. Imagine some idiot firing up a chainsaw and trying to get through that.
