I can't for the life of me find a mold to make this kind of hook. Also, how would I go about making the wire? I'd like to make it a bit longer though and use different hardware, but i like the style. Thanks.
WidowMaker
It appears to be an arky type jig with a hitch hiker plastics keeper. To make the wire you will need to aquire some catalogs that have lure building components and tools. You will need slit ring pliers, round nose jewelers pliers and a wire forming tool to evenly wind the wire around the shaft. The best wire to use is the Mason Brand which is listed under stainless steel lure building wire in the Barlows Tackle catalog. Markell
chiefdano, WidowMaker pretty much nailed it. I am working on someting similar and instead of the hitch hiker, I am making a lead keeper that is part of the head. Much more time consuming in the beginning but once you have the mold, you can kick them out pretty fast.
