borderbasser Posted December 23, 2005 Report Share Posted December 23, 2005 I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the acetone to expoxy ratio needs to be to cote my mold or at least what consistency it needs to be. I was thinking of using the wife's nail polish remover. Also, does brushing it on leave any brushstrokes and do yall use the 5 minute expoxy or the slower curing one? basskat Posted December 23, 2005 Report Share Posted December 23, 2005 You can thin it with normal rubbing alcohol. I use the slow drying, the five minute stuff gets too stiff and leaves brush marks. basskat Posted December 24, 2005 Report Share Posted December 24, 2005 If will keep your baits from sticking. It's much more durable than Mod-Pog. I don't measure the amount alcohol I mix with it.
