clemmy
Hey all, I'm trying to design a jig for redfish, but I want a shiny gold head on it...Has anyone done any research into the cost of plating, or the cost of other finishes? My ideas so far that might be possible: 1)actual gold plating--very expensive 2)home gold plating via caswell--also expensive 3)gold powder paint-how shiny is it? 4)gold glitter coated with epoxy-not the look I'd like but it is shiny 5)blade dip? how durable? Anyone else faced this choice yet and have any experience Thanks All! Clemmy Tampa, FL
Pickerel Pete
CSI #48 Gold Transparent looks pretty good over a nice bright lead head. You can still add a bit of gold glitter to that for more sparkle. Garry.
Pop
Hi Clemmy, just being curious, what kind of head are you going to use? Pop
