jigman
I am pouring a one piece resin mold with the body of the worm about the same thickness as a beaver. Before I can finish pouring a single worm the plastic starts to thicken. The plastic has a watery consistency when I start to pour.If I heat it any more it just scorches.I was using M-F but switched to Calhouns.Does the mold need to be heated? basskat
A couple of pours should heat the mold enough. Just reheat the ones that don't pour correctly. If you store your molds where it's cold, bring them inside and let them warm before pouring. I keep my shop heated so I rarely run into this problem.
