How To Clean A Pro-Pot

Recommended Posts

I know people have thier issues with 3G plastic, including us. However for cleanup it cant be beat. We add 3 oz of heat stabilizer per gal and the stuf just pulls out of the pot in one piece. Only thing left to do is remove the leftover flake/glitter. Then I always wipe the pot down with just a bit of worm oil. Its been working great......

My pot was burning the plastic, and it would cake, even with the heat stabilizer. I got good at breaking it down, pull out the plastic, and scrub the burnt areas off the pot. and re-assemble. Less than 8 min's til Im ready to go.

just dont tighten the 2 top screws verry tight. they strip easy!!!

Can usually pull mine out in one piece, just have to scrub the glitter from the bottom edges, spout area. It helps if you remove one of the screws attached to the pouring handle, loosen the other one up, then swing that assembly out of the way.

***The big pots clean easier than the small pots, and the newer pots with rounded top lip clean easier than the older ones with the sharper lips.
