respectmyauthority86
I was wondering if anyone here has bought some beaver baits from Bass8baits. He sells them on ebay they all look pretty good I was just wondering if anyonw has used them and would recommend them. Any info would be great. Thanks
millsryno
Bass8baits makes some of the cleanest 3+ color pours you are going to find. Not too many guys can pour like he does. His colors are a little different from what I like to use, but they are unique.
millsryno
BTW, has anybody heard from him in a while? Last I heard he got his injection machine. I wonder how that is going for him...
GB GONE
I get a chance to "talk" with Javier (bass8baits) a few times a month... His baits are unbelievable!!!!!!! No disrespect to anyone, but his hand pours are like machine made!! I WISH I could do the things he does with a microwave and pyrex cups (actually he uses the anchor hocking cups). I would highly recommend getting your hands on his stuff and checking it out!!! BTW...He is still working on the injection thing and may be going to a BIG injector soon..... BASS8BAITS
Hi guys! I'm still around. Thanks for the nice words. I had to give up hand pours for awhile. It turns out I may have poured so many worms, I went through a set of eyes. I got some new glasses and now I'm ready to roll again.
lure_learning
Is it safe to use glassware other than Pyrex? I have heard multiple times not to use anything but Pyrex. thanks!
GB GONE
I actually use more of the anchor hocking (Wally world) 1 cup class cups thatn the pyrex. I get a better, thinner stream from those cups. I have used them for over a year now with no problems. Bass8baits turned me on to them!!!!!! millsryno
I use both the anchor and pyrex. I tend to like the pyrex better because it seems like the handle is a little further away from the glass and easier to handle. I also notice that the anchor seems to get hot quicker than the pyrex. I'm not sure about how thin they pour vs. each other, I don't do any real intricate work like that.
civicdx
Anchor is the best IMHO
shaggy
I was at wal-mart tonight and was looking for one of the Anchor Hocking cups, for pouring, and could not find one. When I got home I looked on wal-marts web site and could not find one there either. Any help on another place to get one? I also did a search on ebay, no luck. millsryno
Hmm...I made a mistake. I thought I had a Pyrex and an Anchor cup. I actually have two different style Anchor cups. Here is the one I like better. Is this the one you guys are using? if you want to buy this one, just google "Anchor 8 oz measuring cup" and you will find it is pretty popular. Here is the Anchor cup I do not like. Seems like the handle gets hot quick and it is more difficult to handle. http://www.galasource.com/prodDetail.cfm/63487,8%20oz%2E%20Measuring%20Cup,MX1

BASS8BAITS
That is the one I use. I would use the Pyrex brand if I could find them that size. I noticed my local Walmart was either out or longer carried them. I did see some at Albertsons at one time.
civicdx
the handle does get hot on the anchor quick but i like the anchor because of the thinner handle easier for me to use
BASS8BAITS
I've notice the handle will heat up sometimes. I use 4 at a time and I've had the handle heat up on one and but not the others. Weird...
