sasquatch
I've managed to make three different bondo molds following the tutorials, and have been pleased with the results. Thanks for the help, this site is a wealth of information. My question is this, my demolding time for the foam (16lb foam) is roughly 30 minutes. I've tried to take them out sooner, but the foam will expand slightly if I do so. At the same time the excess foam in my mixing cup is rock hard after say 10-12 minutes. My thought is that my vent hole is too small. If I add additional venting holes, will this speed up the set time? And if so, would this be detrimental to the foam at all? Thanks, Brad
Husky
I demold when the foam on the spew hole is solid, but not rock hard. 30 minutes is longer than the time I use. Give that a try. My vent hole is appx 1/8th "
