respectmyauthority86
Thanks for the info about Bass8Baits I fiqured he would be a good pourer. But my question know is I fish a lot of ponds and small lakes. What would a good color combination be. I was think Motoroil w/ flakes for top and purple hilight for the middle and junebug for the bottom. The bait would be a sweet beaver. Sorry so long. Thanks for all the help so far this site is great.
millsryno
If you are fishing clear water lakes, stick with lighter, more natural looking colors with good light transparency. If you are fishing muddy water, use brightly colored, opaque baits. If the water is in between, use something in between. You can hardly ever go wrong with the watermelon or green pumpkin pours. GB GONE
Don't count out browns and blacks either... In clear water situations, the more "natural" the color scheme, the better it seems. Course, there are always exceptions. I have done well on a bubblegum yellow swirled senko in crystal clear water before.. Jim
