JeffG
How do you figure out how much weight to add to a wood bait? and where in bottom of bait do you put it? Example how much would I add if I am wanting to make a flat sided bait like a Dee bait. 2 to 2 1/2" flat sided balsa crank? and where would you add? Hoodaddy
Welcome Jeff,In answer to the first half of your ?,I would probably start with 1/4-3/8 oz.and adjust from there.I havent tried making a Dee bait but you can scroll down on the forum to find "Making a flat sided c/b" and Art Brush has posted a schematic of one and all the correct tangents.Look on Tutorials to find Coleys TT on making a belly weight.Come to think of the link may be in the above mentioned thread.Good luck
