Pop
I was on a search today for some pop corn salt. Really hard to find here in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. Did have a vendor at the movie house in town tell me that peanut salt was finer than popcorn salt. Anyone ever try peanut salt? Pop

kidlizard
Guys, I dont use much salt, but I thought I heard you can easily grind it to powder with a good coffee grinder. Am I just imagining this? John I went back and did a little searching and found a couple links that might help http://www.bestdeal.org/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=Essential&Product_Code=SALT-POWDER-5 http://www.realsalt.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=R&Category_Code=SSBS You will have to copy and paste them to your browser. I also found several salt grinders by searching yahoo...... Good luck John

Pop
I received some information today. I quote "What your looking for is flour salt which is available through a Cargill distributor, just do a search for Cargill foods and go to their salt division and you should be able to find a distributor, the other people that may have this salt is a bakery supply house. Popcorn salt is a type of flour salt, and peanut salt is a little coarser but not as course as table salt." Evidently my original information was incorrect in that peanut salt is finer than popcorn salt. Popcorn salt still seems to be the best.
