finlander
I want to clearcote a foil lure but I want to make the lips interchangable. I have made a larger rack hooked up to the new rotissiere motor. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I want to spin these w/o the kip installed. That was to be the way I wanted to mount the lures to this new rack...clapping them by the lip to the rack. Hope this helps.
woodieb8
you could put a dummy lip in, or use a screw to hold your bait. we put lips in afterward the clear.
finlander
But the idea is not to have one bond in place. I want to be abble to switch out bills of diff sizes/materials.

CatchingConcepts
why not attach by the back of the lure and then cut the lip slot after the epoxy sets? if you cut the slots for the lips about 24 hours after curing before the epoxy gets fully cured you will get cleaner slot, as it cures further it becomes tougher to get good slot cut as epoxy becomes harder (brittle)
