stefangler
Good morning to everyone, in Romania is 0820 am, all rivers and lakes are deeply frozen and therefore, time to chat about tackle. Usually I enter the hardbaits forum, so I`m a kind of first timer here. I would like to ask you who is producing Cabelas blanks Fish Eagle II and XML? s
Mattman
That sort of thing can change from year to year as that is contract work. Cabela's sends out bids and a number of companies bid on the project. Even if you could find out who makes them, it won't really matter all that much. Cabela's more than likely specifies their own graphite/fiberglass/resin blend and could even have their own mandrels. So if St. Croix were making them for Cabela's, they would be Cabela's blanks and not St. Croix's since the tooling and materials would be proprietary to Cabela's. All in all, no matter who is making them, I've heard a lot of good about them. Cabela's insists on quality and even a normally shotty company would have to produce to Cabela's standards.
