iceman
Hi I?m looking for a treble hook that looks like the old galvanized salt water hooks of the old days. Not the nickel ones the ones that had a silver color to them. I?m looking to put them on some plugs that I am making to give them the old-timer look. Thanks for any help
clemmy
I don't really know the look you're going for, but I know I was at a West Marine store the other day and saw that they had a zinc galvanizing spray can...maybe you could customize a regular treble... dlaery
Would it have been Sea Guard? I buy Eagle Claw 635 hooks nickle plated and sometimes they give me Sea Guard, they are suppose to be for salt water.
jklett
A lot of the older saltwater plugs used Mustad 35517 open eye trebles. They still sell them and they have that tinned finish that you're looking for.
