Getting more confident

I only got this to work well with little salt and very hot plastic. Assuming you have a 2 piece aluminum mold:

1. Instead of putting the mold together like it should be, take one half and flip it and tighten down. This will give you a 1/2 of a senko. Pour the halfs and remove.

2. Cut on a angle towards the top of the senko, this will allow room for pouring the other color.

3. Put the half senkos with the cut angles towards the top back in the mold.

4. Assemble the mold the way it should be.

5. Pour the other color, if you cut enough of an angle you should have no problems.

I think I got this Idea from Del.....

I just open the mold, pour half of it like I am pouring a one peice mold. Keep it about 1/16th of an inch from overflowing. Also, keep it about 1/4 of an inch from the pour hole.

Let it "set up", not dry completely so that it bonds well.

Put it back together and pour straight down the hole with your other color. The hole should be completely open since you kept your first pour about 1/4" from the pour hole. Get the plastic just a little bit hotter for the second color so that you can pour a finer stream down the hole and it will help it all bond better.

WARNING: these are sloooow pouring.
