Celticav
I love these, great summer time baits for early morning and late evening, those lunkers love a warm blooded snack. These were tied by a friend of mine and I wouldn't take fifty bucks for either one of them. Great craftsmanship and few things cast like a wet rat. Big Splash
Cool buzzbaits, I think every angler has a desire to catch a fish on a mouse bait. One of my new plastic molds I made up has a mouse cavity, and I can't wait to try it for big trout and Dollies in the rivers.
RiverMan
Wow, great looking buzzer Celtic! Splash, One fall when I was in college I was working in Northern Idaho doing redd counts on Spring Chinook Salmon. When we were done with our work we would drive to Silver Creek (in a government rig, lol) which is just outside of Sun Valley. Anyway, the stream is a blue ribbon trout water, full of huge rainbows and browns, an anglers paradise. We would fly-fish until midnight each night throwing the biggest deer hair flies we could create. The fishing was always slow but when we got a take it was usually quite spectacular. On a typical night I would catch 3-6 fish all well over 18 inches and some in the mid-twenty inch range, lots of fun! I miss those days. Big Splash
Deer hair rules for big top water trout flies! Don't morn the old days, Jed, just bring those big deer hair patterns up to B.C., I know you wanna...and just a reminder, it'll soon be big salmon time in the south coastal rivers in B.C. too. RiverMan
I would love to do that splash. We have a good fall chinook run here but they are generally pretty dark by the time they get close to me. We focus on Steelhead from October through March, lots of fun. I am planning a trip to the coast for fall chinook in November, looking forward to that. Take care. jed

deadlystreamer
Damn nice Jim. I can see where they would be a good bait. I really like the first one. Nice job with the deer hair. Your friend has a knack for working with deer hair.
