jmik26
I am interested in how many people use scents mixed in with there hot plastic. I recently ordered some anise from Lurecraft, WOW, that stuff is strong Seems like a no brainer, it would be interesting to hear how much better or worse it caught fish? Right now I add it to the lures after they are cured and it soaks up after a couple of days. Bad thing is I started experimenting with this when all the lakes are frozen around here, not sure if it makes a huge difference or not??? nova
If you like that one try LC's garlic. All thier scents are highly conentrated. With the unsalted baits I generally cook the scent right in but just before I pour it. With the sticks you can add the scent to the baits after(I do it in a large ziplock). The salt will suck up the scent and then it is released as you fish it. I mainly use the crawfish scent. I used the garlic so much in the earlier years I became allergic to it. I'm not saying it's bad to use it; just that I can't anymore. One store I put my baits in still asks for it because a lot of customers used to ask who was eating pizza and they sold a lot of baits because of it.
