CrawChuck
Okay...using the site search function for this topic is pretty far and wide! I never used salt in pouring. When I had a bait shop and my lures started getting some recognition a guy from Gene Larew came in and stated they heard I was making salt craws and they owned the patent on salt impregnated baits. I don't really know if he was from Gene Larew or somebody just pulling one on me. Anyway I told him we didn't use salt and he said "we don't have anything to worry about then"...LOL!!! That's what the guy from Texas thought up against the stinky craws...anyway I'm wondering why the salt? I'm curious as to your reasons for using it if you don't mind. Delw
genes patent ran out 2 or 3 years ago I believe. Salt is primarily used for weight to make a stik bait sink like a senko
