charkins
I can paint small dots by using head of finishing nail. I need to paint a fairly large red dot on a Number 7 Indianna Blade. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks Cal
cheesehead
How big of a dot? I've used a new pencil eraser to paint dots in the past. another option is to hole punch a piece of stencil paper and spray your dots.
Jackllbass
Cal, Get a dowell rod the size of eye you want and start painting. Later<>< <>< <>< Jack
dtrs5kprs
Pencil erasers are the deal for dots. Pick up some regular old #2's and also some "huskies", use a hand pencil sharpener & sandpaper to shape the erasers as needed. I use them for all my "dots & spots"...eyes, shad spots. Mr B
I'll third the vote for the pencil eraser. Use a regular pencil for large dote and the small eraser from an automatic pencil for small ones. Mr B
JIGMAKER
Nail heads have worked for me.
dwendt1978
Use the end of a drill bit. Then you can fine tune the size of the dots by selecting the next size up or down. I own the cheapest set on the planet for this. So cheap they can't even drill into wood! But works great for lures.
