fishaholic182000
Hi, great site you have here. I'm looking to purchase a pouring pan with a burner attatched to the bottom of it, anyone seen these? How well do they work? I know I've seen them online b4 but can't seem to remember where. Thanks. ldzoller
I believe Lurecraft sells the burner and the pouring pan separately. I like to use a glass Pyrex measuring cup. Works great for me with lots of control. I've looked at the pouring pan and don't know if I could get the same level of control. Just my 2 cents, hope this helps. nova
The small pouring pans are great for detail work such as veins or tails etc.
bassn1
Just got a few pouring pans for 2 and 3 color pours...my question is, can you set them right on the burner or do you need some type of heat diffuser to keep from the plastic from burning. wannabefishing
no matter what i do i can never seem to keep the plastic from running down the side of the pot, instead of out the spout.... full or half, salt or no salt, just can't do it... luckily i have an old pyrex with a narrow spout for fine detail pours... I put it right on the burner, just keep a close eye on it
nova
The trick with the small pouring pans is not to fill them more that 1/2 full. That way you will have more control over the pour and less dripping.
TAE73
I also found if you use a old junk of burnt plastic to wipe the lip after each pour helps a bunch.
