dwendt1978 Posted March 8, 2006 Report Share Posted March 8, 2006 I just installed Abec 7 bearings into 3 of my 6 Curado 100B's and a set into my Abu 5500. I noticed a huge difference in casting on the Garcia but not a dang thing on my Curado's. Testing was before and after with a 3/8 oz. and 1/2 oz. spinnerbait. No difference at all. Even my other Curado's that haven't been swapped out cast just as far! I thoroughly cleaned bearing and added 1 drop of Yellow rocket fuel to each and still nothing. Anyone ever have this problem to? ssrmr2 Posted December 27, 2006 Report Share Posted December 27, 2006 how many bearings went into each reel? i am guessing 2 main ones that the the spool rides on. I personally had problems with the pinion gear bearing rusting and sticking, and also have had the main shaft bearing under the main gear rust up on me.
