Predator Bass Baits
I have not tried yet but I know a glue with the brand name ( GOOP) is the best stuff you can get, I use it for other things, down side is it takes 24 hrs to set real good., it does bond different types of hard plastic, that is what I use it for so far, I use it also when I buy rubber mice, I put some on the weight that is on mice/rats before I fish them because the lead weight never stays on long. bassnfool
Try Pro's Soft-Bait Glue. It's great on soft plastics and dries in seconds. Check it out on www.ozarktackle.com

ominousone
I know on fly's I have melted monofilament line down to make eyes. I have picked up like 50lb test, and how I would guess to do it would be to string it through a needle pull it through the bait and leave long tag ends and melt them until they form a ball of the right size and pull it tight to the bait, then with the remaining end melt it until it runs into a ball hopefully the same size or so that pulls up to the bait. I know that I have this eerie looking brownish mono that really makes a great looking eye on flies like this.
The Dutchman
I know Cabela's used to sell eyes in a packet. One of the eyes had a protrusion that you put thru the head, cut it to size (The protrusion) and put the other eye on the protrusion. The protrusion had little teeth that held the eye on and it would not come off. Just a thought!
