millsryno
Glaucus, Don't confuse that fish on that link with the one mentioned here. They are two seperate fish...one real, one not.
bassnfool
That is a really big fish. Being foul hooked is only part of the problem. Weighing it on a hand held scale really leaves it open to doubt. If it really did weigh that much it would have been worth a million bucks, and they didn't weigh it on certified scales? I can't imagine anyone being that stupid. Makes you wonder doesn't it?
mossy maker
This will go on for months and be debated over and over again. After all look at what has gone on with the smallmouth record. Unfortunately, in my opinion, a true world record largemouth will have to be kept for varified weighing, examining by officials and possibly even an x-ray. mossy maker
Nathan
I read that he has changed his mind, and is not applying for world record status on that fish..too much of a up hill battle..Nathan
