Popular colors?

Recommended Posts

Most ya'll know I've been out of the pouring scene for a long time. What would be considered the top ten most popular manufactured plastic bait colors these days in your respective opinions? Also maybe somebody can tell me some current prices on five gallon pails of plastisol??? And how much some of you are paying for quarts if any are buying that small quantities...Thanks :)

Craw,

You'll probably get a multitude of opinions here, but my top 10 MUST colors would be:

black

purple

red

blue

yellow

pearl white

watermelon

amber brown

motor oil

chartreuse

Those are just the basic colors without getting too fancy. I only mention these because you can make a ton of other colors with these basics. I'd also toss in a couple important hi-lite powders; mainly blue & green.

My most popular off the top of my head are below. They seem to go in spurts, though. A lot of time you get a request for one of the below with another flake color added, but it is basically the base color.

Green Pumpkinseed

Watermellonseed w/ Small Red

Chartreuse Pepper

Smoke w/ Large Purple

Watermellon Candy

Black w/ Large Blue

Black w/ Large Red

Pearl w/ Large Holographic

Oxblood w/ Red

Pumpkinseed
