kahawai
hi guys, its 16cm long. there's normally a few on sale on ebay, as well as cheaper copies. one of the guys on the softbait forum has managed to pour a few of his own by making a mold from an original. kahawai
about 6 inches. look for "imakatsu javallon". sellers are mostly based in japan but i've found them honest and reliable. there are several models the 160, is 160mm(16cm) which is the largest they do. i think theres a 110 model as well. dtrs5kprs
That is absolutely insane. I can just imagine throwing that at T-Rock when the redfin bite is on, or at Truman for hybrids. Wow.
TBait
Look at the slack in the line when he is buzzing it making a wake on the surface. It appears that the thing is coming at him on its own. It looks like he is worm fishing. I would love to try one of the smaller baits...wow. dtrs5kprs
Couldn't stand it. I just ordered some of the 160's and the 110's off ebay. Once they are here it will be mold time for me. Will post pics over on the soft bait forum when avaialble. That thing is beyond the pale.
reelnmn
Anyone see the guy on E-bay who's made copies of these baits? Even copied the packaging exactly...some people have no dignity. Sorry for the rant... If I could afford paying $12 for shipping I would be getting some too.
dtrs5kprs
Before ranting, please have the courtesy to ask if I intend to sell the bait, which I do not. I saw the copies as well...Lipress, was the name of the bait. Price was almost the same as the original. Any molds I make will be for my use only. Not even sure if it is feasible, despite a previous thread on the Soft Bait forum.

millsryno
Guess I'm not understanding why people are against knocking this off and selling them when Senkos, Beavers and just about all others are knocked off without a second thought about it. It boils down to this...if you don't want somebody to knock-off your bait, you had better get a patent on it. I only pray for the day every manufacturer is knocking off my bait. 'Cuz I'll be getting rich off it just the same. Are these a patented design? I did not think they were.
GB GONE
Not patented Ryan BUT you just opened a BIG can of worms!!! In my opinion, if you make a bait of any kind, you are probably knocking off some kind of bait or baits... many baits may change a small part of a bait but a jig still has a head, skirt and hook. Cranks have hooks and and eyelets and mostly the same shapes. Plastics are, well, made of plastic and most have a close shape to others... Many have made baits better but usually have started out with some inspiration from another bait. That is just my opinion though...Others will and have disagreed .. dtrs5kprs
With a bait like this one...meaning very limited availability, as was the case when pouring beavers was big last spring...I have no problem duplicating the bait. Selling...probably not, as posted above, mostly so I can have it all to myself.
RiverMan
What an amazing swimmer, wow! Some of the swimbaits have an action that is just incredible. jed v.
reelnmn
Sorry, didn't clarify myself. I have no problem with people who make molds from other baits (senkos, beavers, etc) and then pour their own baits. Also I see nothing wrong with copying and selling a bait that has no patent. The only problem I saw here was someone copied nearly everything...the bait AND the packaging. That would be like selling your Senkos with GYCB logo. But instead using your name. To me that's wrong. Sorry I didn't mean to sound like I was flaming in my last post.
