I'm thinking of trying Balsa, Pine, and Red Cedar. My dad has every wood imaginable in his woodshop so that's not a problem. What do you use to seal the bare wood of a crank that is ready to paint? I thought I read somewhere using Devcon 2 Ton as a body sealer and then throwing it on a drying wheel(to air dry?), and painting and Clearcoating. What do you use for a clearcoat? And thought I'd read about Coley using a hair dryer for help in setting the lip for the wheel. I'll have to build a wheel. Also, any other little thing you could teach me to avoid the "Dang it, Shoulda done that!" type stuff. And finally, got yelled at for having boots on in the house and lures lying around. Would Devcon 2 Ton work on sealing the Wardon's lips shut while she's sleeping? Or does Devcon make a 6 Ton for that. And should I airbrush her lips and Clearcoat them as well??
