Predator Bass Baits
Anyone know were I can get a Stainless Steel syringe ? I used a plastic one today with my 3 K and 5 K combo 2 piece grub mold from del and it worked perfect, I was about to sell that mold because I could not pour the tail without pouring the tail first, I am a happy camper now. There is one on ebay but across the pond and it would be about $45 shipped.
nova
You might find one at a vetrinary supply house.

Dungeonhawk5
so what does this do for you so that you can get the tail right, instead of pouring it in 2 steps?, just plug the hole enough and force the plastic with pressure up in to the tail? Predator Bass Baits
Just like injecting a turkey, I stuck the tip in the hole and squeezed lightly, you will feel it needing more preasure and then just let off a bit and pull the syringe out and finish the top off as you come out. I did it 10 times now with perfect baits everytime. The air is pushed out the sides of the mold as it is not a air tight mold.
Predator Bass Baits
I checked the one out at bass pro, that will not work as it is a needle, it does need to have a ball end or at least a big point, the plastic one I am useing is about 1/4 round at the tip so it fit in the mold spout snug so no air or plastic passed by. I would have to go and look but it is about 120 cc or bigger ( about 4 oz full )

TAE73
How hard is it to clean it after each use?
Predator Bass Baits
I sucked up about 1/8 cup of plastic in it and After I shot off 4 grubs the plastic was almost cool and It just pulled out the end and was clean, Will see what the stainless one does. Predator Bass Baits
It is a 60 cc / 3 oz, I sucked up 1 oz to pour the 4 cavities . I did order a stainless one but it is 7 oz, as that is all I could find. Does stainless hold heat better ?
robbor
I saw a beer keg tap the other day that could easilt be convirted. Or try glass ones
nova
I tried using a stainless steel pot once to melt plastic and it scorched much faster than aluminum; so I would suggest that it allows the heat to travel through the metal much faster.
