dwendt1978
Please don't tell me your talking the glass measuring pyrex!?!?!? God don't use that. Get yourself a mini muffin pan from a Wal-Mart. They are perfect size for any melter.
robbor
Not measuring cup, but a baking container, Yes. They are supposed to be good for over 500 deg F. But im not shure of the actual temp.
dwendt1978
Ok. wheew. lol. Yeah that might work. Lead is 612-650 degrees in your melter. I'm sure it would work. Like I said I use muffin pans and you don't make muffins at 600 degrees. lol. And those pans hold up great. They will burn your work bench so put something under it first. I found out the hard way. nova
Play is safe buddy. The metal muffin tins are not that exspensive. What price do you put on a really bad burn; or better yet; how much are your eyes worth.
robbor
Ya its just to much of a temp differance, Im not goint to try it. I dont think anything will happen but the chance of shattering the pyrex, corning doesnt sound fun.
