_Renegade_
I've been searching for molds to make the bodies for rooster tail lures. Specifically in the 3/4 and 1oz size. Thanks
LedHed
You could probably modify a DO-IT: In-Line Sinker INT-4AB (1/2, 3/4, 1, 1-1/2). If you can find it ? Elmer Marx: Lure Body ? 9 different cavities various weights ? is the one you want. Reading Instruments has cast iron In-line sinker molds that come in single weight - 1/2, 3/4, 1, etc. Looks like they would work well. The smaller size molds have 8 cavities. You can always have a custom mold made.
_Renegade_
Thanks, I found one of the do it molds you suggested. As I have no idea what I'm doing just yet, what would I need to modify? Thanks again
Pop
LedHed, where would you recommend having a custom jig mold for hand pouring made. Thanks, Pop
LedHed
Renegade You might check out the bottom bouncer BTM-5-M ? instead of the suggested wire form, substitute it with a straight wire. Not sure if it would work, don?t have any experience with that mold but it looks like it should work. I think someone has suggested that on a previous post. Try a word search. With the DO-IT: In-Line Sinker INT-4AB, you would have to cut a straight line (the diameter of your wire) through the brass eye receivers on both ends of the mold. You could file it or use a dremel. Hey Pop Check out Collins Custom at shawncollinscustom.com. I talked to Shawn about some custom work ? sounds very reasonable considering the costs and time involved with custom work.
