siebler_custom_baits
With silicone all you need is the little skirt tube tool. Cant remember what they call it, its a tube that you slide the collars on then the material is pulled into the tube and you slip a collar on it. They are under 5.00, or atleast when i bought one 3 or 4 years ago.
grub_man
My Skirt tube from Netcraft was about $13, but I think it was still cheaper than the pliers. If you are an archer, you could use a section of an arrow with a field tip. Then glue a wire with a little hook to pull the material through the shaft. The collars will slide onto the shaft over the field tip. Joe
siebler_custom_baits
Here you go, Pensil tool. This thing is cheap and works great if your not doing tons of skirts constantly. 4.99 http://staminainc.com/skirts/skirt_tools.html
gtlegs
I made my own out of an ink pen. It is self explanatory to build, and works great! -Trey
haybay larry
Guys, I use the skirt factory, it is efficient. If you are in need of 100's then you need more of a specialized jig assembly to do this operation...Larry
