I want to make a rod similar with the same action. Does anyone know what blanks they use? I am looking for a 6'6" MH Casting rod blank. I guess I'll use Fuji ceramic guides, foam handle, etc... Mattman Posted April 26, 2006 Report Share Posted April 26, 2006 BPS has their blanks made in bulk in Asia. You'll never be able to find them. There are many grades of Fuji ceramic. The best bang for the buck are the Alconites. I consider them the lowest quality guide that I'll use on a personal rod of mine. I mostly use SiC or titanium framed SiC guides.
