Queezinhouse
I have been browsing this forum and others but i have to say this is by far my favorite. I had a Fat Ika body mold made and wanted to order some skirts that I can put on myself. I remember seeing it on here but it seems everything i saw before got erased. Any help in finding skirts for the ika body would be greatly appreciated. Queez

D.J.
These skirts are the best I have ever seen. I just ordered from him not that long ago, and the service is awesome. I haven't had a chance to fish them yet, but they are magic in the testing tank.
M.Bassitt
Not trying to jump the thread, but how do you fasten the tail on to the body ?
dampeoples
I've never used them, just remember it from the old thread. Mr. Bassitt - heat, there's a video on the link I gave

M.Bassitt
Tried the link and the video, but the video didn't work for me. What kind of heat source do you use ? don't wanna burn my fingers.
BBC
Bassitt, He uses a soldering iron with a custom attachment in the video. I use the skirts to make soft plastic jigs (like a hula grub). I dip the tip of the skirt and the tip of my bait in hot clear plastic and hold them together until the plastic cools (you have to rotate the bait a little so the plastic doesn't drip out on your finger). This works very well and I've never had any problems with them coming apart. Eric
Shawn M
I will have to agree, getbit makes awesome skirts. To put the tails on I use an utility knife clamped down to my work bench and heat the blade with a torch. Shawn
jmik26
As always I appreciate the kind comments! Bassit I double checked the link and it was working. I am running Windows XP with Windows Media Player 9 and a high speed connection. It is a big file so it will take a while to download, for me it was 40 seconds on DSL. I attached a picture, but the movie shows it alot better. Queez check you PM for the information on ordering skirts. Thanks again guys....Jeff
