Shawn M Posted December 28, 2006 Report Share Posted December 28, 2006 I have a few of lurecraft's molds and I think they are pretty good, especially for the price and selection. On the deep or intricate ones I found that you have to be a little carefull or you can rip the RTV. The detail is good on newer ones, but I picked up a few used that the detail wasn't as good. azbass Posted December 28, 2006 Report Share Posted December 28, 2006 I have over 200 LC molds and my only regret is that some of them are beginning to wear out. Salt has been the biggest destroyer, but after thousands (yes, thousands) of pours I can't complain. The cnc aluminum molds produce some beautiful baits and I will continue to phase out my LC molds with aluminum replacements, but only because I'm a perfectionist. azbass Posted December 28, 2006 Report Share Posted December 28, 2006 They don't have the amount of fine detail that a cnc mold will provide, but many baits do not require that much detail.
