bassnfool
Now that's thinking outside the box. I bet the tail action is awsome compared to a regular tube.
nova
I like it. Is the marabo tied to the hook or imbeded in the plastic?
Snypa
*ahem* need testers ?? lol... seriously tho, nice work man.. the tail looks great (i think it is maribou), i could probably catch a ton of bass with that at my local pond, they love their froggies

jmik26
Looks good earthworm. We have done this with a senko. You can pinch it between the mold, made for some great drop shot action! Let us know how it works fo ya...Jeff
rxfish
I'd like to know what camera and lens you used to get that shot. I'm looking to do my own photography.

earthworm77
Thanks guys. I have an HP camera, nothing high tech, in fact I pretty much suck at taking photos, these came out pretty good though. The maribou is tied directly to the hook. I'm sure somewhere, somebody did this before but it kind of came to ma as I was loathing all of the tying I was doing with craft hair to make float n fly jigs. I also did a few with rabbit but the maribou is much nicer looking.
Smallie
I think Jensen Jigs offered a tube offered something like this but I don't think he is tieing anymore. Can you post a picture of it wet so we can see how the marabou compresses? Dave
Gloomisman
pretty freakin cool.
Nathan
You can also make the tail from bunny fur left on the hide and wrapped around the hook shank. The bunny is a bit tougher than the maribou. If you do these in brown, they make a great craw imitation..Nathan

earthworm77
I was playing around with the rabbit hair but it didn't look as good as the maribou to me.
nova
The thing of it is that the rabbit fur will look and "pulse" a lot better in the water. Not to mention that it is a lot tougher than feathers. Granted; as far as "eye candy" to the fishermen; the feathers look a lot better. Still a nice looking bait though. www.novalures.com
