Luretrekker Posted December 31, 2006 Report Share Posted December 31, 2006 Hi guys, I'm reading the forum for a while, now I would like to contribute with my latest creation...although it's not finished until now I try to insert a picture. I'm going to coat it with a clear epoxy layer and colour it with some kind of transparent green colour. It has a going thru wire axis and the lip is made of lexan. Usually I use cedar wood to carve my lures. This one is carved out of a special hardfoam, I'm experementing with and I must say it is a good material to work with. I did not sell any lures until now, maybe when there's time enough to build more lures there will be the possibility to sell a few. ;-) Now I am waiting for a new epoxy resin for coating. The pupil was made with epoxy mixed with black acrylic colour. I cut out the shape of the carton and then dipped black epoxy on the eye.
