Palmetto Balsa
I am looking for lead wire to weight balsa crankbaits. I am looking for a wire type so I can cut it easy and get the weight I need. I guess 2 or 3 inch pieces would work as well (instead of a continuous wire), but it would cause me to have more scraps. I figured I would check here first to keep it in the family. A few pounds would get me started, and I would prefer a higher lead content. Any help you guys could give me would be great. If not that simple, do you have any recommendations on a good source for a small purchase. Thanks Is anyone working with Tungsten powder? Best price I could find was $19.50/pound. (20 pound purchase)
Elken
You can buy rolls of 1/4" hollow core or solid core lead. People use it in the Northwest for steelhead and salmon fishing. Out here at least Wal-mart stocks it.
