cwenbass
Now that I have mastered pouring;) I want to try a 2 sided beaver. I am thinking that I seperate the mold, mix a color and pour. Then let is set up a little and then close the mold and pour the other color through the spout. Does this sound ok? Any suggestions welcome. Gloomisman
I'm not 100% sure on the beaver but I know the easiest way on a senko is pour 1/2 with the mold open then close it and pour the rest. I would think on a beaver you would only be able to pour the body different but I'm not sure about that.
cwenbass
If that is how you do it on a senko, i think it might work. i am going to hold off on pouring for a while until i get some scent and a few more colors.
nova
Just be sure to angle the mold for the second pour ensuring the side that already has plastic in it is on the high side. Plastic for second pour has to hot and you have to pour slowly. Good luck. www.novalures.com
Senkosam
An easy way to pour a laminate Beaver would be to pour half with the mold open. Next, pour the body only and with flat side down of the first pour, press it down on top of the hot plastic (body only). Below are full round baits using a one part mold.
