Terrydabassman
I have a guy wanting 3 bombers made and painted with a Matte finish. I've refurbished a few lures that had this finish on them but I have no clue how to do it. Anybody here know how it's done? Thanks a bunch, Terry
KcDano
Paint jobbers used to carry a flattening agent for paint. Might be worth investigating further.

maximusgunn
Not sure if this helps as I have never tried it, but Createx has a matte finish gloss you could try.

jklett
Did you try a scotch-brite pad? Might do the trick.
BobP
I'd Just tape the bill and sand the clearcoat with 400 or 600 grit paper. I wouldn't spend a ton of money/time/experimentation trying to find a matte clearcoat unless you'll be doing an awful lot of it.
