Skeeter Posted January 15, 2007 Report Share Posted January 15, 2007 Stay away from the oil based paints. They are just a pain. Enamel you can thin with lacquer thinner. Skeeter Posted January 18, 2007 Report Share Posted January 18, 2007 I don't foil baits. I never cared for the way that they look. I never used createx much either. I could not get the results that I was looking for from it. I got better results using regular latex house paint thinned with water. But createx should stick to the foil. jbaits Posted January 27, 2007 Report Share Posted January 27, 2007 after you foil, I clear coat then paint the back, belly, gills, dot,ect......then I clear coat again. your paint is now floating between clear coats and looks really nice..
