D.J.
Jeff, I have to say, your skirts are by far the best out there. That is a pretty cool color combo. I might have to think about carrying something along those lines. I tank tested my ikas with your skirts, and the action is unreal. Those tentacles really scream out crawfish. Smallie
Doubling up the skirts is a great idea. Really fills out the tail. Nice work too! Dave

jmik26
Thanks for the props guys. It is pretty amazing to see these in action, hopefully soon we will get some better footage. Smallie - check you PM for the info I should also mention that these are two different color skirts soldered together. So this can be done with many colors, the black and blue look great also... Garneau Baits
Nice baits -- The top one I call the (Hula Stick) I have been selling them for a year now, they work great!!! I also make another skirted bait I call (The EmGem) Its a good flipping bait and the Smallies love it on a 1/4 oz Jig Head. The pic above shows 2 of the limit of SMALLIES all of which were that big plus a bonus 17# salmon they came on The EmGem. check them out at EmGem link - http://www.happytimehandpours.com/TheEmGem.html Hula Stick link -http://www.happytimehandpours.com/HulaStick.html I cook in UPPER HAND scents in all my baits

They are a couple of people that just like that style. Can you get custom colors?

Queezinhouse
Hey I mean no disrespect but I have tried Happys skirts and the Gitbit ones I have, have way more action. It seems like the tenticles could actually latch on to the fish. I got my sample from JMIK and put it in my tank, Holy cow ghostbaits is right the pics dont do it justice. It actually looks like they are breathing when they pulsate. I cant wait to use them. Should really stimulate feeding when the bass are inactive. Garneau Baits
jmik26 , Here is the number to the Co. I get them from Precision Lure's Inc (870)528-4016. Im not sure if they have fire tiger. They like you to order by the Thousand -$75 per thousand its hard to beat 7.5 cents each.
Garneau Baits
Queez, No disrespect taken, but I did want you to know that they aren't my Skirts they are precision Lures skirts, I just use them on baits that I pour and they seem to work just as good as GY skirts at a fraction of the cost. jmik26
Thanks for the info happy, we talked about this in the past but I never followed up on it. We get a few die hard GYCB hula users that dont want anything but those. Price is right, maybe if I could milk 1000 hula grubs from our customers I will bite....LOL
Shawn M
Jeff...those are some nice looking IKAs. What impresses me the most is how well the tails are put on. I have trouble getting them on "perfect". Hopefully, with more practice, I'll get it figured out. You have some tremendous tails, I will be ordering some more real soon. Take care, Shawn
MicroSalm
jmik26, Your skirt design is the best I've seen. I would like to start making skirted grubs but I cannot pour a good skirt. Could you post a photo of your skirt mold? I am just starting to get into pouring soft plastics and I am curious how you make such a great skirt? I assume it is injected with an AL mold but I cannot picture the geometry of it? Does it make two at a time and you split them?
jmik26
I can't give away all the good secrets:lol: . I can tell you that it is injected and does a double headed skirt all at once. We started off with a 1 cavity mold and moved up to a 6, 10, and 15.
